It seemed impossible that he would ever move on. She had meant so much to him, so much more than he had thought any wolf could ever be. She had been his everything, his reason for living. It was pathetic though, the way he mourned his loss. Three summers had passed since his birth and he had first set eyes on her. Now here he was a fully fledged brute, standing taller than most at almost three and a half feet at the shoulder. His peltage was that of the true Timber wolf spreading over his muscled body like a suit tailored to fit. His crystaline optics glowed bright with intelligence and knowledge. Without a doubt he was a sight to look at, that is, if there was anybody to look at him.
Sighing somewhat Fell continued through his stroll through the forest, his large, velvet paws falling silently on the forest floor beneath him. Here and there were patches of snow but for the most part, it had been swept away with the bitter rays of the fall sun. The trees around him grew tall and close together, blocking out quite a bit of light. But Fell did not mind, his optics could see fine in either light or darkness. The path was also familiar to him, having traveled it often enough in the past couple of days. He had paused in these lands on his search for her. Something about the lands was enchanting though because every morn when he awoke and told himself to leave he felt himself pulled more towards the lands he currently inhabited. As far as he knew he was the only lupine of his knowldege.
He walked along in silence, his optics taking in the surroundings around him. It was a beautiful forest, one that played host to small prey as well as the occasional deer. The birds sang happily and the sunlight always found away to pass it's light into the shady wood. Minutes passed but Fell didn't notice it. He was busy, taking in all these features of the wood, his mind slowly coming up with an idea. It was not until he reached his temporary den did he break out of his daydreams.
The den was small having not been dug out to the fullest. Once it had proboably been the den of a lynx. It had long been since abandoned though as not long after the discovery of the den fell found to the bones of the old owner. He had taken it as his own, digging more and more into it each day. He proceeded to do so now, using his sharp foreclaws to dig into the back wall of the den. For a couple of moments he did this before settling down in the entrance of the den.
Located on the side of a small hill the den was in a perfect position for one who enjoyed surveying the lands below. The hill was not steep but it was a rather large hill. No trees grew on that face of the hill, instead merely long green grass and shrubbery. One could easily see the mountains in the distance and the rest of the forest by lying in the den area. Several times when Fell had paused in his work he had thought about giving this den to a mate or a lover and he would imagine his offspring bounding around in the green grass. He would pause and smile but then her image would take over and he would abandon his work remembering that he would only be there for a short time.
But as I have stated, the brute felt drawn to these lands. He was an alpha pup by birth, the traits of leadership strong in his viens. Why should he not take over these lands and claim them as his own? There were no other lupines in the area as far as he knew and he had been there quite some time. If there had been a pack without a doubt they would of showed up and driven him off. But nobody had showed up demanding him to leave the lands, nobody had appeared to tell him that he was intruding.
Fell had made up his mind about the matter. She was gone, gone forever. His hope of finding her was slim. Most likely she had found herself a mate and had proboably had pups to. Sighing somewhat the large brute rose to his feet. There was no other option then.
Padding outside into the sunshine he closed his eyes and he could hear the gentle calling of a mate and the cheerful laughs of pups. Yes, there was no other option. He turned and padded further up the hill until he stood above the den, on the rock that made up the den's roof. He stood atop it, his fur shining in the sun. Lifting his gray hued muzzle he let loose a deep howl. His howl echoed throughout the lands, letting any other inhabitants know that he would want to be the sole alpha of them. He challenged the very land itself, stating that he would defend his lands with his life if need be. Finishing his howl the self proclaimed alpha fell back onto his haunches, a smile gracing his muzzle. "And so it has begun..." he murmmured chuckling once more before looking over the lands of 'his', its magnificent forests, vast plains, and sparkling waters. Truely this land was a sight but, it still hald its mysteries, of feirce battles, and a raging war between the former inahbinats of this place.

Tight muscles pulling her... Reij was in a fury. Hadn't SHE called these lands as her own. Hadn't SHE marked most of the borders. This was HER lands and this outsider had the nerve. Her head held in a dominate fashion she charged head on... breaking through bushes and other foilage. Fire eveident the captured pools of emerald and sapphire.
She finally saw the brute who was trying to call these lands for himself and take what was rightfully hers. She growled lowly under her breath and shook with fury. Her fur along her back bristoled as she looked at the male... he was handsome she gave that much to him, but he was repulsive in her eyes. He had no right in the world to just march on a terra and without even looking for a Alphena he just strode on and called this his own!! Insufferable... I'll kill him!!!
She lunged from the ledge she was on and landed right in front of the big stag. Eyes periced into his... yes she was a femmora BUT she wasn't weak she would fight for these lands. YOU LOW LIFE MUTT!! she snarled, nearly roared. Every inch of her quirvering with anger and malice, she bared her sharp ivories... and dared the buck to strick her... YOU HAD NO RIGHT. YOUR A WOLF AND YOU DON'T JUST WALTZ ONTO SOMEONES LANDS AND JUST CLAIM THEM AS YOUR OWN... THESE LANDS ARE MINE!!!! I SHOULD HANG YOUR BLOODIED HEAD ON MY TREES, IN FRONT OF MY BORDERS!!!!! she raved and spat and snarled... there was one thing a wolf didn't do to Reij and that was show her this much disrespect.
Her head was held high and her fur on end... she was a beast to be feared... eyes blazing into the offenders, and her teeth bared and every few minutes she let out a furious growl and snap at the creature laying in front of her.
((Ooc: Ashley this is Reij's lands O_O didn't you read my claimance post and check to see if the lands were open for snatching???))

The brute had apparently upseted the alphess. Looking to her with crystaline optics he sat in amusement. Yes he knew these were her lands but he caredless. He was raised with the dark wolves but followed his own path. His fur remained still and his position hadn't changed. He felt no fear of the challenger and over looked her, " Its a petty really, on how just anyone could have done this. But I am guessing I have chossen to do such. It would be a lovely show wouldn't you agree?" His tone was flat no emotion what so ever. He knew she was pissed but really he was all subsidle over it. One ear and out the other. He c.ocked his head in a questioning manner. Frame still plastered in his spot, un-moved by her actions.

"Fine you want to fight? Then let's go!" she huffed and her orbs shined with their malice and hate. "But first how 'bout a bit of a wager? What say you? Besides the usual 'I lose you take over my lands and do what you want with me or I win you lose and I keep my lands and I do whatever I want with you.' Let us make this interesting..."
Her first fight over her lands and she was going to make them eventful and full of chalenge for herself and the offending brujo that was sitting so mockingly in front of her. "I win... I won't kick you out of these lands... but your to stay here and be my Omega, until I deem you worthy... to rise to a pack member. And now your turn what will you have me do? Forcebreed? That would be typical... make it interesting..." she now had a smirk on her maw and pure enjoyment in her sapphire, emerald orbs. She would torment him if he lost, and anyways she was short of pack members and one for Lucius and her to kick around would be great.
Raising a brow at the brute she gave him a mock bow... and smirked. This would be a lovely show indeed.
Ooc: Oh OK... fine here is the drama... and try ((not do I don't care what you do)) something like 'force her to be Fell's mate forever' that would make Reij very, very, very, very, very angry lol. But whata eva. Good show 'ole chap. LOL >__<

Lucius appeared from the shadows a silent snarl curled on his maw,frame hunched and taunt.His indigo orbs pierced the other brute-he was a member of this pack- and he could sense his alphenea did not want this brute claiming her lands.Pads landed softly upon the ground,eyes narrowed slightly with great dislike and anger.Already he felt he needed to protect the pack he was apart of.Muscles froze,hackles raised yet maw dropped from the snarl.
Dark pools glanced to the alphena-awaiting her say-.She seemed agitated and if she was then he was too.Pads dug into the earth as muscles tensed once more.He dropped to his haunches a few feet away.

The brute smiled at her wager, an omega a petty to be such but truely no matter he could hold his ground, looking calmly to the new brute that appeared he gave a quick nod, and Stood. His bodice was still held loosely perfect for a warrior. Still he held his frame confortably, neither submissive nor threatning. Still the smirk was plastered formaly on his jowls. " So a wager it is, I agree with yours so as long as you'll do mine. You loose I take these lands and you as my mate. So what say you?" His actions were of self control which he had greatly. His crystaline optics flashed quickly to the other brujo. " But there is to be no help from him. So I'd advise you to scram like a good pup." He readied himself for her to bring forth the first move or such. He was readied even if he didn't seem so, he wasn't scared, furried but he was amused to do so.

Fine so be it! But I won't lose... she smirked and caught site of Lucious, No he stays... he is the only other member. And he has proven to be good for this pack.
She was still to be alphena... yet she wouldn't like being a mate. She belonged to no wolf. Ha, she even pitied those that had the burden of a mate. Reij wouldn't stoop down to their levels of fluffiness. She wouldn't fall because of a male ordered her around.
Glancing at Lucious she nodded and smirked. This was her fight and it wasn't permitted that members help in any way. Growling, no, snarling at the male in front of her she backed away. He was to fight it should be one of honor... yet every thing goes.
Oh and before I forget... "Everything goes in love and war" she thought that saying suited this senareo... this abomination... yes the saying went along just perfect... she snarled and braced herself for her adversary to rise and put himself in postition to fight her. Muscles waiting for the now exercise and pain that was to come... this WOULD be fun.
((Sorry for the long wait I can't get on during the weekends... grounded... -_-;;))

Lucius dipped his maw and disappeared into the brush,but could be seen if you looked for him.Maw turned upward in a silent snarl but he did not move-this new brute was a mouthy thing and to disrespect a alphena was against all laws that may have existed,but he only watched,dark pools churning uneasily.
