Blood makes the world go round
« Thread Started on Jan 6, 2006, 7:15pm »

Gliding casually downward, retreating from the line of dark trees, Razor observed his surroundings with a cool air about him. Most wolves would howl to get acceptance, but he didn't quite feel like alerting any others to his presence at the moment, even if he was trespassing. If he was caught by any pack members he could probably just play nice and hope to be forgiven. Razor grimaced at the thought of sucking up, contorting his already scarred visage. Hopefully, just perhaps, he could remain unnoticed for a bit longer, but was now beginning to truly doubt it. If the wolves in the pack were daft, he'd have no reason to join them, after all.

Bringing one large-clawed paw onto a clump of underbrush that had not yet yielded to the snow, he was surprised to see a hare dart out, and raised his brows in amusement. Prey was becoming increasingly hard to find now that the winter months were upon them, and Razor hadn't had much luck when he tried seeking them out. But instead he let the little rabbit run along, though his tongue was caressing his fangs in a hungered fashion. If he had tried to take prey from the other pack might as well be his last mistake. So far he hadn't done anything to make himself suspicious, excluding being in the middle of their territory without permission, obviously.

Shifting his attention to the trees, he noticed the last of the sun's rays were beginning to wane, so that only a few small streaks of light broke through the gnarled, empty branches. With a sigh he turned his attention to his pads, highlighted in the snow, and began to lick at some wounds he'd acquired in his travel. His tassel, sparsely furred and torn up, began to flick tediously out behind him as he hoisted himself up atop his long pillars and looked around once again, making sure he wasn't being watched. He couldn't see why they'd want to watch him; he wasn't very interesting after all, but he probably did look suspicious, a wolf with messed up eyes, and fluffed beyond inmagine, resting lazily in a clearing at sunset. Something was bound to look weird. A faint smile tugged at his lips at the thought of it, and he reclined back down onto ebon-hued haunches.

The pads of the half Dire female tapped the ground silently, the soft breeze kissing her her peltry and ruffling it just so slightly. The wind carried the scent of, yet another, male, into her nares, and a snarl appeared on her jowls, though her vocals emitted no sound. Her dark chocolate eyes peered around as she paused, her light tan peltry blending her bodice in slightly with the bare trees. Her breathing was soft, unheard to others unless their hearing was superior, and her auditives twitched as they searched for sounds to give her a sign to where the male was. Of course, the wind had died down, and the scent was no longer brought to her. She raised her head slightly, sniffing the crisp air.

Maevee raised her right paw, about to take a step forward when she saw a slight movement in the brush. Creeping toward it, a wicked grin spread across her jowls, and she placed her paw gently on the brush, pulling it back to reveal a wounded bird. Disgusted, she growled, a low, guttural growl, and heard the frantic chirping of the baby blue jay as she drug her black talons over it, rivulets of blood appearing after just a moment. A pleased smile crossing her jowls, she slunk forward, nares flared as she sniffed the top of the ground, her chocolate eyes raised and continuously scanning her terrain. The chirping of the bird had stopped - it was probably dead, or dying, as it were - and her auditives twitched, trying to pick up sounds. Slinking around, her body close to the snow covered ground, Maevee gave up on the search and proceeded to turn, heading for the cliff. Her muscles rippled underneath her excellently groomed pelt, and her large pads snapped a few thin twigs as she made her way, leisurely, toward the cliff. A yawn escaped her jowls, and, remembering that an intruder was still in her lands, she howled a warning. She was, actually, slightly tired, not in the mood for a fight.

[ooc; sorry if it's a little off - haven't rped wolfies for a while.]

Razor struggled through a large snowdrift, doubting he should have ever left the clearing. It seemed that here on this mountain the temperature was at it's lowest, and the snow was deep. Oh, well. He'd live. He'd experianced far worse than this before. Razor leapt over the snow, clearing the large drift. As long as he kept moving he'd keep himself fairly warm. He just needed to get his blood circulating. He gave a miserable sigh, releasing a string of steam into the air, which wavered there for a second before being blasted away by a powerful zephyr. Razor readied himself against the wind gusts. Goddam. Meandering about on strange, dangerous lands wasn't advised.

Stumbling a little razor soon found the snow was harder to manuever in then he first guessed. He'd been in snow before, but not climbing nearly vertically upward. Which brought up a good point. "Why the hell am I still going up?" Razor wondered aloud. Something was clearly messing with his head. Um...right. Okay, then, back down we go. As Razor turned to go back down he thought he saw a shadowed form, moving upward up the hill. Was he being stalked? He didn't exactly think of himself that important to be followed.

Raising a brow in dull amusement, Razor was nearly shoved forward by another gust that stung his nares and auds. The temperature was frigid. But it would be interesting to see what the hell that other crazy canid was up to. So grudgingly razor trugged after it swiftly but not bothering to be quiet. The howling wind could drown out nearly any noise anyway. He soon found that the other wolf was headed up - all the way up. Nothing else could be known, nothing heard over the howling wind and nothing to be smelled unless he felt like risking turning his nostrils into icicles.

Razor soon stumbled upon the wolf at a high peak. He was a bit taken aback at first, and leapt backward, ivory canines bared. But the wolf standing there. Razor gave a loud snort. "Hey," he called out in that empty voice of his, his tone flat. To hell with it, why be so nice? This very wolf might have been following him. It was a very good possibility, nothing else to do up here but freeze to death."You! Get your ass up, now. Why the hell are you up here?!" Razor called loudly as a new wind threatened to drown him out.

Maevee saw the intruder at last, coming down off of the cliff. She snarled loudly, pulling her lips back over her blood tinted ivories. “You had better not snap at me, brute. I am the alphess of these lands, and I believe that you are tresspassing.” Maevee proceeded to growl over the wind, her voice coming out crisp and clear, sounding angelic with a lot of demon mixed deep within. The snarl was kept upon her jowls as her half dire bodice went rigid, skull and tassel high in dominance, as she crept forward a step or two with her large paws. How dare he order me around on my own terrain. She thought to herself, snarl widening with anger as her brow furrowed, her cold chocolate eyes glinting with fresh anger. Though her pelt was groomed over them, scars riddled her bodice, long and short, new and ancient. Yet she knew how to keep them clean, so that she didn’t have to mess up her pretty mixed coloured pelt. Ivories glistened as she snarled at the dark figure of the intruding male, the fur upon the back of her neck rising. “I do not tolerate wolves who boss me around. I am the alphess. You do not tell me what to do - t’is the other way around. These are my packlands, not yours.” Maevee snarled, not knowing whether she could be heard over the wind. Either way, her posture told that she was a pissed off female, who wasn’t amused.

- In the dark side of your mind -
- I live in and dominate -

He listened carefully to the mistriss, one aud twitching slightly. So, he was to keep power below her? Sure, he didn't want to hurt her, but it had to be done if he wanted to prove himself. As Razor's Dial shot up and he padded closer to her, shaking his pelt for a moment, and slinking over to his opponent. He let out a low growl, encouraging her to get going.

- Leading you to the unholy sin -
- Feel the pleasant smell of death -
- Claming for you -

"Well then miss, I bow before no one, not matter if they are alphess or not. I Razor tend to rule any and all, those are my true intentions, yes?"

- Confounding your thinkings -
- The insanity reach the top -

He backed away and began to circle her, his paws falling on the snow without a sound, his orbs fixed, without moving, on her own. His pace was slow, and steady, and he held his patience, watching her through almond-shaped coal voids. The brute continued this till he reached her rear. Usually, if he was aiming to kill, he would have started at the back and worked towards the front. There - there he would launch for the jugular. Razor carefully followed his own technique, pausing quietly behind her, and then hurtling towards her at immense speed, attempting to bowl her over while teeth fought to nip at the scruff of her neck, aiming to bowl her over so he was able to pin her to the ground. He growled under his breath, and shoved harder, his nips becoming firmer, hind legs straining. Would his task be accomplished, or would she fight back?

- Realizing the impure desires -
- Renouncing the everything that's holy -
- That can't make sense anymore -

ooc: Sorry for his harshness I haven't had good drama to keep me into role playing so I thought'd I'd bring some in. For I finnaly got back into razor now xD

Maevee growled with anger as the male began to nip at her. She snarled as she turned on a dime in a split second, lashing out with her front talons. Her teeth were bared, and angry pulsed through her veings. “You do not rule over me, brujo,” Maevee snarled, her body going rigid as lashed out again with her talons, not knowing whether her aim was clear. Though she was half Dire wolf, she was slender, easy to manuver, slick and powerful with the most grace. Anger flashed in her cold dark orbs, jowls continuing to hold their snarl as she started to circle the brujo as he had done to her, her body tensed, waiting for another attack. I didn’t think I would have to fight for my own lands so soon, but oh well. The voice inside Maevee’s mind snarled, and she opened her jowls and snapped them shut, expressing her annoyance and anger. Her skull remained high in dominance, snarl spreading larger across her jowls as she thought of things that she knew would get her angry. Being angry helped her fighting ability.

His orbs widened slightly as he missed, paws sailing past her and instead, landing in the snow neatly. He whirled round to see her launching towards him, her fangs bared, Circling him. One eyebrow raised; so she was trying out his own technique? Very well. He let her come only a few millimetres closer before suddenly hurtling forwards, cleanly attempting to attack, and skidding round to tackle her, paws sliding against hers, now attempting to trip her up, a sly grin apparent on his mug. He easily kept pace with her until she would slide to a halt and defend herself; he was swift and agile as well as strong. All around them there were blurry movements in the corner of his eye, but he was too engaged in his and her sparring to glance up, and focused his full concentration on winning and proving his skill. Again and again, he atempted to shove hard into her side, snapping at the scruff of her neck, nipping at her back. The viciousness of his next shove slightly startled him.

ooc: sorry for repeated movements but that's how I am used to doing battles xD

Maevee tried to dodge as she say him come at her, but she didn’t make it far. A snarl escaped from her maw, and she proceeded to try to slash at the male, side stepping to avoid tripping. The snarl remained on her face as she built up power in her haunches, springing upwards as she attempted to jump over him, succeeding and sliding across the snow until her paws dug into the ground beneath the snow. She lunged at him, trying to dig her ivories into his pelt. Maevee would not let her lands be taken from her, and the thought of the mangy male she was fighting taking them over was enough for her to try to snap his back. But she didn’t. She was too keen for that. If she had tried, he could have easily manuvered so that he could slash at her side. A vicious snarl emitted from her vocals as she tried to snap at the male’s throat.

Stoping amidst the fury as she had leapt clear over him razors sent a feirce snarl from his vocals as she endlessly dodge all his attacks. Out ragged the canine raved as the vix had attempted to place her ivories on his throat, cackling to himself his razor trap was opened and he ammited the same attack she had as she clasped to the side of his fluffed nape. Attempting to clash and tear at he throat. All was heard in his ears were the out ragged growls that were emitted from his and her throat. Surely he could win but she seemed well enough as a good challenge.
